How a Post Op Massage is Performed
A post op massage is performed using special techniques to help reduce pain and swelling, promote healing, and improve appearance and flexibility.
Manual Lymphatic Therapy will use a very light pressure with a double stretch across the lymphatic vessels in the skin towards the closest nodes on its way to the heart.
Myofascial Release is a deeper pressure. A light rolling of the skin for incisions for a smoother appearance. A stronger pressure for deeper scar tissue. Strokes are always adjusted to customer’s comfort.
